Dantley is one today! It is crazy to me that a year has already sped by. Today was super busy with soccer and Halloween parties, so we opted to celebrate his birthday tomorrow... but I did want to post some pictures of our little charming cutie pie.
It is becoming a tradition that Jake and I go as the villains. Last year I had planned on being Cruella but since Dantley was born on the 29th I saved the costume for this year. When the girls saw Dantley's dalmatian costume, they decided that they needed to be dalmatians too. I found cute all white outfits at Goodwill and Alyce helped iron on spots when she was here for her visit. The costumes turned out super cute and were even better on Halloween when we painted the girls' faces too. Luckily Dantley decided that he was okay with the hood of his costume that night and left it alone. Prior to that he got mad every time we put his costume on.
Trey wanted to be Spiderman -- so after searching through the many villains we decided to make a Doc Ock costume for Jake. I found the trench coat at Goodwill and bought the pipe for his mechanical arms at Home Depot. All the costumes were lots of fun and we got lots of comments on them. Now to decide what we should be next year.
