Rolled Over!

On February 16th, 1011  Dantley rolled over from his back to his front for the first time!  He grabbed on to my pant leg and pulled himself over with his brute strength.  He now is starting to scoot and we find him off of his blanket.  He has rolled over a few times since and can go from belly to back too.
I took this picture of him right after his first roll.

Mom and Dad's Anniversary

Jake and I celebrate our 11th anniversary today.  I decided to take pictures of the kids to post today so we could see where we are now in our lives compared to 11 years ago with our wedding pictures.  Feels amazing to have 4 kiddos and we are so happy that we have the amazing 4 that we have.

Snug as a Bug

Sunday February 13th... the weather was gorgeous, so we decided to take a family walk after church.  Jake put Dantley in the front pack and then zipped him in.  It was too odd looking to not take pictures.  Dantley sure seemed to enjoy it though.  It is amazing to think we have lugged all 4 kids around in that same front pack.

Cuddles

The other day Natasha got Dantley to fall asleep and was cuddling with him on the sofa.  It was so sweet that I had to grab my camera.

Once the camera was out, everyone else wanted in on the action.

These pictures are also great for demonstrating the huge bald spot on the back of D-boy's head.  Shortly after these pics were taken I trimmed Dantley's hair up a bit.  He had some really long side pieces that hung over his ears and some long pieces in the back under the bald spot.  Now that his hair is shorter in other places the bald spot doesn't stand out quite so much.

February 10th, 2011

Jake is out of town this week for work in Atlanta.  Last night the kids slept in my room and woke up super early.  I asked Tasha if she could take Dantley out to play with him so I could get a bit more sleep. The next thing I know all the kids come in wearing hats.

Dantley has some skin issues.  I have to put Aveno cream on his cheeks several times a day, and his skin is still dry and blotchy.  Because it is dry and because he is always trying to get his thumb in his mouth, I can't seem to keep him from scratching himself.  As soon as one heals up there is another one.  The one in the above picture he did at church last Sunday, and it is a deep one.  Poor little guy.
